Refund policy

A little room to change your mind. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return of an unused CubVolt One.

30-day unused returns

To qualify for a change-of-mind refund, your bike must be unridden, undamaged and complete, with its original packaging, supplied parts, accessories and manuals. You can open the box to inspect it; please keep everything together. This offer applies to bikes purchased directly from CubVolt, including sale purchases.

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a request to return your bike.
  2. We will send the return address and packing instructions. Send the return within 14 days of receiving those instructions.
  3. Once we inspect the return and confirm it meets these conditions, we will refund the price you paid for the bike to your original payment method.

You pay the return freight for a change-of-mind return. We do not deduct the cost of your free standard delivery from your refund. Any delivery charge you actually paid, such as an optional delivery upgrade or international shipping, is not refundable for change of mind. There is no restocking fee for an eligible return. If the return does not meet these conditions, we will contact you to explain the issue and agree on the next step.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If your bike arrives damaged, is the wrong item or develops a fault, stop using it and contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and any helpful photos. A receipt, order confirmation or other reasonable proof of purchase is sufficient. We may need to assess the bike to understand the problem.

For a major failure, you can choose a refund or replacement. For a minor failure, we will arrange a free remedy within a reasonable time. If a minor problem is not fixed within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement or another remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty-product claims are not limited to 30 days and do not require an unused bike or original packaging. Sale purchases have the same consumer guarantee rights.

Returning a bike safely

Contact us before sending a bike or battery so we can arrange a suitable return method. The CubVolt One contains a lead-acid battery; do not send a damaged or leaking battery through ordinary post. For a faulty bike that is heavy or difficult to return, we will arrange collection or cover reasonable transport costs. Keep receipts for any reasonable return costs you incur so we can reimburse them when the fault is confirmed.

Cancellations and refunds

Contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel an order. If it has not been dispatched, we will cancel it and refund the order in full. If it has already been dispatched, the relevant return process applies. Refunds are made to the original payment method without undue delay once your entitlement is established; your payment provider may take additional time to display the funds. We do not substitute a store credit where you are entitled to a refund.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

These rights are additional to our returns policy and express warranty. They may continue after an express warranty period has ended.
